Onion Set Hercules F1 is a good storing onion variety with strong flavour. Onion sets are easy to grow in the garden simply push each set just into the soil in rows and water in. Check often until growing that birds have not disturbed them and wait for the leaves to grow. Once mature lift out of the soil to dry off until the leaves have withered and they can be dried further for storing or used immediately for cooking.
