John Innes No.3 Mature Plant Compost by Westland Garden Health 30l Image 1

John Innes No. 3 mature plant compost from Westland is made from sterilised loam, peat and horticultural grit with added nutrients. It is ideal compost for re-potting mature plants such as shrubs into containers. The addition of Soil based compost (loam) John Innes improves water retention and regulates the supply of nutrients to the plants by only releasing them when they are required. John Innes also makes it a heavy and dense compost ideal for mature plants and those that are top heavy.

Feeding: The compost is supplied with enough nutrients to meet plant requirements for the first 4-5 weeks. Thereafter, for best results commence feeding with Westland Feed-all Plant Food.

***Prices include a £5.50 delivery surcharge, so if you are looking to collect the compost, prices may actually be cheaper in our store. ***

As soon as you open the bag, you can tell that this is real good compost. It's fine and of very good quality. I use them to pot my long term perennials. Crowders delivers the real thing. I've bought it from another garden centre once and it came in a black bag and looked nothing like the real thing. That's the reason I am writing this review.
