Apple Maggot Control Trap by Growing Success is a monitoring trap to prevent moths damaging apple and pear trees. These traps are suitable for organic gardening as they are pesticide free and are easy and simple to use.

How it works

The trap releases the pheromone of a female moth to attract male moths of the same variety and once they land on the sticky surfaces they cannot get off again. This trap can also be called a codling moth trap, as codling moths lay eggs on apples and the larvae burrow into your apples and eat them from the inside out.

Direction of use

We recommend you use 1 trap for 5 trees providing they are reasonably close together and suspend the trap from the tree branches.
