Crocosmia Lucifer bulbs produce fiery red coloured flowers on thin stems amongst thin strap like green leaves. Crocosmia flowers are easy to grow and can be left in the ground slowly spread to larger clumps although these should be divided every few years to avoid plants from becoming stale.
