Is this Hedging Plant Ideal for where I will be planting it?

Berberis thunbergii Atropurpurea is ideal or a low hedge to create a barrier and for deterring unwanted creatures as it is a spiny and dense plant. It is an ideal hedge if you are looking to attract wildlife which will add interest to your garden in autumn. Berberis thunbergii Atropurpurea prefers well drained soil, but is happy in any pH as long as it isn’t waterlogged. This hedge is also suitable for either sheltered or exposed areas and coastal sites where there are maritime winds.

How Many Hedging Plants will I need?
Here at Crowders we suggest each plant should be 12-18 inches/30-45cm apart in a single row which works out at 3 per meter. If you require a thicker hedge you would require 5 plants per meter which you would plant staggered, 12-18 inches/30-45cm apart.

Which Size hedging Plant Do I Buy?
Bare root hedging plants are measured by their height in centimetres from the ground and are approximate.
