Corylus Avellana or its more commonly known name, Hazel is an upright tree-like shrub with heart-shaped green leaves that turn orange-gold in autumn and is deciduous. From late winter to early spring it bears yellow catkins and then goes on to produce edible hazelnuts in autumn.
Will this Hedging Plant be Suitable?
Corylus Avellana or Hazel is ideal for most hedging, but particularly suitable for country hedging. It can tolerate most soils as long as they are moist, but does not like acid conditions and prefers full sun, although it does not mind some shade.

How Many Hedging Plants will I need?
