Carrot: Early Nantes 2 by Thompson and Morgan seeds. Approximate root length: 13-15cms.
Carrot Early Nantes 2 is a fast maturing selection of this superb carrot with medium length roots of good internal colour. Excellent also for a January/February sowing under glass.
Sowing Instructions
Sow seeds from late winter to midsummer in drills 1cm deep, spaced 30cm (12in) apart.
Growing instructions
As soon as the seedlings are large enough to handle, start thinning them out so that they are finally 10cm (4in) apart.
Aftercare
The last thinnings will provide tender roots just large enough to be used. Harvest midsummer to autumn.
