Delivery Cost
To calculate delivery cost please add the item to the shopping cart where it will show the cost and delivery options for your shopping. You will not be asked for payment details at this stage so can easily cancel if you wish.


Standard delivery
Our standard delivery is dependent on the size and weight of the item/s ordered but on the whole is usually delivered within 3 to 4 days of dispatch. This is usually by courier service or Royal Mail 'Recorded signed for and will need someone to sign for the delivery on arrival. (We suggest using your work address for delivery if you are out all day.) If you are unavailable at the time of delivery a card will be left through your door with details of the local depot to collect from. Large packets and small boxes of low value may sometimes be sent via Royal Mail Standard Parcel Service.

Speedy Delivery
Our Speedy delivery service uses a courier service offering '˜Next working day' delivery from dispatch, but this can be dependent on the size and weight of the items ordered. This will need someone to sign for the delivery on arrival. (We suggest using your work address for delivery if you are out all day.) If you are unavailable at the time of delivery a card will be left through your door with details of the local depot to collect from.

Pickup In-store
Our Pickup In-store is available on all items although some items will not be available for collection on the same day when they goods are not held by us on site. Please wait until we email you, to let you know your order is ready to be collected.


Delivery of Plants - Average 2 Weeks Delivery
As you may have noticed on the website some of our plants are delivered within an average of 2 weeks. This is due to the large range of plants we offer so not having space to grow every plant here on site at Crowders and so we have to wait for them to be delivered from our other growers. We do our best to get plant orders delivered within the 2 weeks, however sometimes certain plants can take a little longer. In the event of this happening we will contact you as soon as possible to inform you of the delay.

In order to provide the best possible service, we will start to dispatch orders as soon as a reasonable number of plants and/or dry goods are available for the most efficient dispatch. If you require a quick delivery, we may be able to offer you plants of a similar type which are grown here on the nursery, so please ask us.

Please be aware that plant orders purchased using the speedy delivery option will be only be sent on this service from dispatch, once the plants have come into stock. Plants orders purchased using the pick up in store option are also processed in the same way, but instead of being delivered we will email you letting you know your plant order is ready to be collected.


Delivery of Plants - Bare-root hedging plants and Trees
As you may have noticed our bare-root plants are available from November to March and some of our trees are only available from September to February, so please be aware of these availability dates when you are ordering. Majority of our bare-root plants and trees are grown are grown here on our own nursery. Bare-root hedging and trees are not available for immediate dispatch as we have to order them with our nursery who then delivers it to us. This usually takes 3-5 working days, but if it becomes busy this can take a little longer and we will inform you of the delay.

Please be aware that plant orders purchased using the speedy delivery option will be only be sent on this service from dispatch, once the plants have been delivered to us. Plant orders purchased using the pick-up in store option are also processed in the same way, but instead of being delivered we will email you letting you know your plant order is ready to be collected.


Order Picking
In the event of an item being out of stock we will email you as soon as possible to inform you of the delay.
