Chosen for their tolerance of almost any soil type, including coastal or exposed locations, this Hawthorn based hedging pack produces dainty white flowers in early springtime, followed by bright red berries in autumn.

Crataegus Monogyna or Hawthorn Hedging Plant:

A popular native hedging plant with sharp spines and glossy dark green foliage, Crataegus Monogyna, also known as the common Hawthorn, comprises the base of this mixed hedging pack. With a bushy habit and deciduous foliage, Crataegus Monogyna can be grown in an area receiving either full sun or partial shade, with the small spines making it an excellent choice as part of a security hedgerow.

Rose Canina or Dog Rose Hedging Plant:

A native British rose with pale green foliage, Rose Canina produces delicate pale pink flowers in early summertime, followed by red hips in August, attracting wild birds to your garden. Tolerant of exposed areas and growing in almost any type of soil, Rose Canina is a deciduous hedging plant that's perfect for almost any garden.

Prunus Avium or Wild Cherry Hedging Plant:

Blooming in early springtime with clusters of small white flowers, Prunus Avium is a deciduous hedging plant with a bushy habit. Suitable for either exposed or sheltered areas, Prunus Avium is best planted in a location that receives plenty of sunshine to ensure vibrant foliage and abundant flowering.

Prunus Spinosa or Blackthorn Hedging Plant:

A bushy deciduous hedging shrub with dark green leaves, Prunus Spinosa produces thorny foliage, coupled with dark purple fruits as autumn gets underway. Preferring a sunny location in either an exposed or sheltered area, Prunus Spinosa is an easily cultivated and quintessentially British hedging plant.

Euonymus Europaeus or Spindle Hedging Plant:

A native hedging plant with a bushy habit, Euonymus Europaeus is a fast growing variety, allowing for rapid cultivation of a healthy hedgerow. Suitable for cultivation in most soil types, Euonymus Europaeus can be planted in an area receiving either full sun or partial shade. Producing small yellow flowers in springtime followed by bright red fruits in autumn, Euonymus Europaeus adds a splash of vibrant colour to any hedgerow.

Acer Campestre or Field Maple Hedging Plant:

Commonly known as the Field Maple, Acer Campestre is a dense deciduous hedging plant that produces broad, rounded leaves in a verdant shade of green.
