Hedera Hibernica, also known as Irish Ivy, is a highly vigorous climber useful for covering up unsightly objects in the garden. It is also a useful plant for ground cover, as it quickly takes root if shoots are pinned down. Small, yellow-green flowers appear in autumn, giving way to clusters of berries. These berries are an excellent source of winter food for birds and other wildlife in the garden.
